Happy New Year! This past week, I was finally able to relax. Although my school break felt as if it passed by too rapidly, I was still pretty happy with the fact that I didn’t do homework every single day, and there weren’t many responsibilities that I had to undertake. Fortunately, I was able to spend some time with my family and relatives in the sunshine state of Florida. As you might or might not know, Florida is not the most exciting thing for me on this planet. It’s a very good relaxing spot, don’t take me wrong, but to live there is sort of a social suicide. I guess because I’m young and need some sort of entertainment and movement to keep me alive, I’m not very content in Florida. However, it was still a great week off.

Due to the fact the holidays just flew by, I have decided to return to blogging in full force. This might not last for the whole month of January-don’t take me wrong, I’m not going to not post at all-it’s just I’m going to slow down because my college tests are coming up, and I’m going to focus on my studying process. I feel as if no matter who you are, a student or an employee, January and February are the two most stressful months of the year, mainly because you come back after the relaxing vacation and you’re right away pressured into doing work.

Let’s establish a distance from negativity and stress, and focus on today’s post. I have decided to put together my favorite sparkly skirt that reminds me of champagne bubbles, and a basic, striped T-shirt. Because the holidays were around when I was shooting this outfit, I have played up my outfit by adding more accessories that would scream sparkle, but not kill the casual feel of the outfit. I once read a passage about Coco Chanel, and it stated that she would wear many accessories at the same time yet, she put it together in an elegant manner. That’s one of my fashion goals for the New Year: wear accessories, but don’t become a Christmas tree.
