Hello, my fellow readers!
It has been a while since I have posted, however, I’m not going to make up excuses because there should be none. You know I’m a full-time student, and that says it all. For today’s post, I have decided to bring back the memories of the sunshine state of Florida. As you might know, I go to Florida almost every winter holiday, and this time around it happened again. This post took place on December 30th, 2014 in Miami. Why I’m telling you the setting? Well, because in New York City you will not be able to wear a short black dress with short sleeves without tights and a coat on December 30th. In addition, I find that Miami is one of the best cities in Florida, however, I’m probably thinking that because of Miami Beach. If you do not know what Miami Beach is, it is a region where all the crowd’s gatherings, parties, biggest movie scenes, hotels, restaurants and other social gatherings take place. Still, Miami is not New York City.
I do not know what it is, I do not know why, but the only thing I do know is New York City is my source of inspiration. No wonder why many individuals who are passionate about art, fashion, and acting are located in the Big Apple. All the opportunities lay here, and in my own opinion, there are many cities out there, but there is not one like New York.
As for today’s pictures, I have decided to make them more candid rather than fashion oriented. Of course I’m going to bring fashion into this blog post, yet, I’m putting pictures that are not of a fashion blog quality, but rather more casual pictures. In addition, I’m taking a new approach to my pictures.
As stated by the title, my blog is called Fashion Caption. Every time I meet somebody and we begin to talk, I usually would never bring up the existence of my blog unless I trust that person. I have no clue why, but my blog is my creative outlet, and I allow only specific people to see it. And usually when I tell somebody about my creative outlet, they begin to visit it. I always ask people to critique because I must know what steps can I take to make sure the representation of me is at its best (sounds conceited, but my blog is my image). And once, one wise man told me that I have lost the caption for my fashion. As I have mentioned previously, I’m trying to change my blog in order to make it more unique, and bring something new to the fashion blog platform. However, thankfully to that man, I realized what I have lost: the part that makes my blog unique.
So, from now on, the majority of my new posts will have pictures, but some of them will include captions from the corresponding articles and sentences that summarize some points of the articles. Therefore, this post includes some pictures with captions from this article on them. Of course you will still be able to see my looks and outfit details, but some pictures will have a caption because what’s Fashion-Caption without the Caption?
I hope you enjoyed this post, and have a wonderful day!
xoxo, Sophia for Fashion Caption.
